Therapeutic Style and Approach
Hello! I’m a mental health therapist who is passionate about helping people recognize their own potential—and actually reach it. I believe therapy should feel real, not clinical or distant. You won’t find me sitting silently while you carry the entire conversation. Instead, there will be moments of laughter, moments of honesty, and sometimes moments that feel heavy. All of it matters. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while still maintaining a strong, professional therapeutic relationship. My approach is client-led. I follow at your pace, your priorities, and your goals. I’m not here to push an agenda or tell you who you should be. I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety and stress, depression, self-esteem and self-worth, life transitions, grief and loss, mood regulation, relationship challenges, identity exploration, boundaries and communication, motivation and goal-setting, and the impact of childhood trauma and PTSD.
Real change comes from within and while I can’t wave a magic wand and fix everything (as much as I wish I could), I can walk alongside you, offering support, insight, and perspective along the way. Life has a way of moving fast and pulling us in different directions. If you’re looking to slow things down, take a breath, and begin connecting the dots between your past and your present, I’d be honored to work with you!
A little about me:
I have been on the other side of therapy as a client longer than I’ve been sitting in the chair as the therapist. While that might sound a bit scary, I see it as one of my strengths. I know how it feels to be scared, embarrassed, and the overwhelming feeling of wanting to push it all down and keep moving forward. Change is hard, but my hope is that we can work through it together.
Animals are also one of my passions, especially when it comes to therapy! While I currently do not have an in-office therapy animal, it is something that I’m working towards and will implement when appropriate.
I also really love crafting! My favorite is to crochet, so you may see me in some handmade sweaters or accessories here and there. You’re more than welcome to bring in a small project you’re working on if that makes talking about the hard things easier. I also have coloring books and supplies in my office, if you’d like to doodle with me.
Education and Certifications
I hold a Master’s in Clinical Social Work and am committed to supporting individuals through life’s challenges with empathy, curiosity, and care.
I am trained in Brainspotting, a trauma-informed, body-based approach that helps clients access and process unresolved emotional pain by working with the mind–body connection. This approach can be especially helpful for people who feel stuck or haven’t found lasting relief through traditional talk therapy.
